A visual exploration of RockShox’s Flight Attendant, photographed in a Denver hangar and high above Buena Vista at Cottonwood Pass, bringing premium product imagery into real-world terrain.
RockShox’s Flight Attendant represents a major leap in mountain bike suspension technology. It is an electronic suspension system that continuously reads rider and trail data in real time, automatically adjusting between Open, Pedal, and Lock to optimize efficiency and control without rider input.
For the Flight Attendant launch, the imagery was built across two distinct environments. The first took place inside an airplane hangar in Denver, Colorado, using a controlled studio setup as a conceptual nod to the product’s aviation-inspired name. The second phase moved the studio lighting and production approach into the mountains, photographing fully equipped bikes at Cottonwood Pass above Buena Vista, Colorado, where elevation, exposure, and expansive terrain reinforced the system’s ability to adapt and perform in demanding conditions.
By maintaining a consistent visual language across both locations, the project bridges engineered precision with the unpredictability of the alpine environment. The result is a body of work that reflects Flight Attendant’s core promise: seamless performance that allows riders to focus less on settings and more on the ride itself.
