Primary stills for a short film directed and produced by Bryn Atkinson.

Shot in the forests surrounding Bellingham, Washington, this series documents Bryn Atkinson during the filming of Gold Standard. The project centers on Atkinson’s riding style, defined by precision cornering, speed, and control through the dense trails of the Pacific Northwest.

Working alongside the film crew, the still images focus on the moments between movement and impact. Tires compress into loam, suspension loads through the turn, and posture shifts as the trail tightens.

Atkinson rode a custom gold Norco Range built for the project, its unmistakable finish cutting through the dark greens of the forest. The result is a visual study of control and rhythm, where rider, bike, and terrain move as a single system.
