Commissioned photography produced in Morzine, France with athletes Sofia Wiedenroth and Yannick Pontal to support the launch of SRAM’s Eagle Transmission drivetrain.

SRAM commissioned this project in Morzine, France to document the launch of Eagle Transmission, a drivetrain system designed to deliver strength, durability, and consistent shifting under load.

Photographed with athletes Sofia Wiedenroth and Yannick Pontal, the goal was to place the system in terrain where power, torque, and repeated impacts are part of the ride. Alpine trails above Morzine provided the right environment. Long descents, steep climbs, and rough surfaces mirrored the demands the system was built to handle.

Eagle Transmission introduces a hangerless interface between the derailleur and the frame, creating a stronger and more direct connection across the drivetrain.

The photography focused on movement and durability. Riding scenes were captured in natural terrain while detail frames highlighted the system integrated within the bike.

The resulting images place the product in the type of terrain and riding conditions that shaped its development.
